Masala Chai Black Tea

MAPLE AND TEA INFUSED SPICED NUTS

Makes 4 cups

 

Minimal ingredients, simple to make and

t-licious . . . I dare you to eat just one nut

CHEF INSPIRED TEA SUGGESTIONS

Chai tea

Caramel butter beer

Ginger and Cinnamon tea

MAPLE AND TEA INFUSED SPICED NUTS

 

¼ cup/60 ml dark maple syrup, lightly warmed or room temperature

1 tbsp/15 ml unsalted butter, melted

2 cups/500 ml almonds

1 tbsp/15 ml ground Cuisinier Inspired, to taste

METHOD 

Preheat oven to 350F/176C. Spray a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. In mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, ground tea and warm maple syrup together. Add the almonds and stir until they are completely covered.

Spread the coated nuts onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for an hour, stirring occasional until the nuts are browned. Remove from oven and let cool completely before you dig in.
